Big
Night
Ladies
and gentlemen, brace yourselves;
The show that is arriving,
Is the new rock'n 'roll.
A
two-thousand arena
The expectations are high,
Everyone is living it; their life is on
a line.
The
buzz of the big night
The noise of the crowd, queuing in crocodile
Thinking out loud.
Big
men on the door, dressed to the nines
Over-fed penguins this is their time,
To keep order tonight, for the show has
arrived.
The
ticket people take their place
Backstage nerves take hold,
While a stampede, rushes in for something
cold.
As
an observer, this is unseen!
Where words have taken music's noise,
With a beauty, tenderness and poise.
