The Sun Still Shines

Dust and wood and rotting remains,
All join one for evolutions chain.
Under the mud a seed shall grow
Revealing the plants, the rays do show.

The plant, the food, takes the soils food,
Thicker and tall and spreading out fast,
The cogs start spinning,
- Small ones fast and large ones slow.

Evolution and the bible,
Say the same to him and to her.
Bacteria, germs, creatures take hold
Relying on the weak, who rely on the mud,
Which relies on the warm and relies on the cold.

Human beings rely on the former
Who rely on the latter.
The latter is us and we are them,
For when we die,
Our soul goes on- To oil the cogs,
Until the fat lady sings,
The day begins.
